This summer I’ll be working as an intern for a non-government organization whose primary goal is to make the world rabies-free! They do it essentially through campaigns and projects which educate the local communities. I’m expecting to learn more skills and knowledge as I work with the subsidiary of GARC here in the Philippines. What’s really exciting is that the tasks we will be doing are basically projects I’m looking forward to do such as producing video material, brochures and other communication paraphernalia. I was also tasked to be the team leader for the production of a comic book for kids which will aim to educate about rabies in schools. Isn’t it just awesome? But more than anything else, I will be able to produce a portfolio out of this internship. Well yay! May the odds be ever in my favor this summer! :D
